Flying Lessons
![]()
Now, I am here to teach you to fly but ,today, I am going to tell you about the broomstick. Flying was first thought to be real between 1450 to 1600, when belief in the power of witchcraft was widespread in Europe. Witches were reported to fly on a broomstick while wizards and warlocks were occasionally reported to fly on a pitchfork. Broomsticks ended up as the preferred vehicle, some scholars suggest, because of woman's job as a housekeeper.
Now, witches use to put "flying ointment" on their bobby and broom, so can anyone tell me two plants and/or herbs they used as ointment? Answer this and you will get 40 points.
